2020-06-01

Voting for the ESC elections 2020 will begin on Monday, 1 June at 08:00 CEST. Those eligible will be able to vote electronically until 18:00 on Monday, 26 June. The results will be announced on the ESC website on Saturday, 4 July.

Prof. Jeroen Bax, Chairman of the 2018 – 2020 ESC Nominating Committee, would like to remind you that you can review the candidates’ CVs on the ESC Elections page.

As you know, ESC Congress 2020 will be a digital experience this year. Your members, in particular young cardiologists who would not ordinarily be able to travel to ESC Congress, will be able to join global experts sharing the very latest science. They’ll be able to ask questions to a live panel and be part of the largest virtual gathering of the global cardiology community. Please note:

  • Pre-registration service for NCS Presidents will open early June
  • Registration will open mid-June and will be FREE with a My ESC account

With regards to the specific meetings that you would usually attend with ESC leadership at ESC Congress, we’ll be giving you more information in due course.

Best wishes,

Prof. Jose Luis Zamorano and Prof. Franz Weidinger
ESC Vice Presidents for National Cardiac Societies
